Lemon juice highlighting hair?

I have black hair and i was planning to comb through some lemon juice in my hair. I was wondering, how long do i have to sit under the sun for the highlights to reach a light brown but not blonde. i dont want blonde streaks, so i want to catch the right amount of time to get a light brunette/ golden brown look.

I've used lemon juice before. Heres what you do:





Wet your hair.


Put lemon juice all over and comb through.


Sit in the direct sunlight until your hair is dry, and your hair should be lighter!Lemon juice highlighting hair?
i dont think you can die your hair brown with lemon juice. i jusat makes your hair streakier. (and cute!) you have to sit in the sun for about a full day. Do not expect it to change over a short amount of time. You can also use a product called sun in which does the same job as lemon juice.
